The high peaks create an elegant appearance while the frame design leaves the space underneath open for tables, chairs, food service, décor, and other event needs.

This tent features fire-retardant, UV-resistant block-out vinyl designed to provide dependable coverage from the sun while creating a clean, professional setting for weddings, parties, corporate functions, and special events.

What Can You Fit Under a 20x40 Tent?

The 20x40 is a versatile option when you need more than a small gathering tent but don't yet need one of our larger event structures.

As a general planning guide:

Seated Dinner with 60" Round Tables: Approximately 64 guests
Banquet-Style Seating: Approximately 64–80 guests
Ceremony or Chairs Only: Approximately 100–130 guests
Cocktail or Standing Event: Approximately 100 guests

Picture eight round guest tables with approximately eight guests per table, a rehearsal dinner with banquet seating, rows of chairs for an outdoor ceremony, or a spacious covered area for a school, church, corporate, or community event.

For weddings, this size can also work well as a separate cocktail tent, food and buffet tent, covered ceremony space, or additional guest seating area alongside a larger reception tent.

Planning Your Layout

Guest capacity changes considerably once you begin adding other elements beneath the tent. Buffet lines, bars, DJ equipment, dance floors, cake tables, gift tables, and other event features all require additional space.
